Oh, it's been a while. Let's see, what has been happening recently?

Well, the last week or so I've been home because of a bout of gastro. Hasn't been fun, and living on a diet of bread, water and spaghetti made me want to cry, heh. I've just started eating normally and have been craving lamb kebab and big macs and chocolate and roast chicken with stuffing and chinese food and pizza and cake and chips and...

I can go on and on. Stupid gastro.

Nadia is overseas - and will be until January. It's the first time we've been apart for so long. It's odd not having her around but we still smsmsms each other almost every day. She recently lost her passport and credit card so I had to call around and cancel things. I'm not sure where she is at the moment, last time I spoke with her she was in Germany. She LOVED Berlin and is considering moving there for a while. Seems Australia is behind in so many things. Le sigh.

I can't wait to have enough money to travel. I would love to visit all of Australia, and my first two overseas countries of choice would be New Zealand and Greece. I just need to stop using my damn credit card though and put the money away. I recently got my tax return which was nice and set that aside in my various savings accounts.

A new bedroom suite is my next huge purchase, hopefully within the next 2-3 months. I need a new mattress too, one of those snazzy 'good for your back' mattresses, though they are sooo damn expensive! I've saved up almost $900 so hopefully by the end of the year my bedroom will look rather different. I've had the same furniture all my life!

What else? Our new kitten, Rumble, has grown so much. He is gorgeous and absolutely hilarious. He has a need to chase Gabrielle and jump on her back which she doesn't appreciate very much. So funny. He adores my mother and follows her around everywhere as she does the housework. He attacks the mop or broom as she sweeps and as she tries to make the bed, he has a habit of lying right in the middle of what she's doing.

I adore my cats. ADORE THEM.

Doesn't stop me wishing for a dog though. Once I move out, that'll be one of the first things I do. Get my own dog.

Might leave it at that for now.

I might go and hunt for some food...
