I couldn't believe it, Essendon once again got through a game they should not have won. In front of more than 48,000 people at the Telstra Dome, Essendon came back from 36 points down to win by a point against the best team in the competition, the Eagles.
One friggin point.
I actually couldn't listen to the last 10 minutes of the game, I couldn't take it. So I put the music on and kept my eye on the clock, and when I thought the game was over, I turned on the radio and heard the Essendon theme song blaring.
I started jumping around the room, screaming "YES! YES!" then Nadia called me and we started woohooo'ing to each other over the phone, heh.
I've had a permanent grin since.
Damn, I love football, especially when we're winning.
