Two days later and I'm over the loss at Twickenham.  Sort of.

I bought a new game for the PS2 today, which makes it two games in about ten months.  Rugby 2006, it's really good and very addictive.  At least it's something to do until the new season starts.

The new Manics album is still really really good.  It's definitely the strongest work since Everything Must Go, and some songs in my opinion do top it. I'll have to sneak in if I can when I work their show at DMH next month.

Speaking of work, I'm working Friday at the hall, then Saturday - Tuesday for this 125th birthday celebration at Abbey Park (not that any of you will know where that is) which should be a lot of fun.  Then I think I've got some more shifts the week after and then I start back at the DCA the following week.  So I'm making the most of my free time at the moment, and hanging out with my friend Allen who recently had to miss his holiday because he burst a hole in one of his lungs, obviously not cool at all.  Also this Friday I'm meant to see Kate, absolutely terrifying.

Being home is good, it's just a little quiet.  You can seriously walk for about 15 minutes and not see a single other person.  Comparing that to Leeds, it's like the complete other end of the spectrum.  No characters getting tackled outside Co-op or anything.
