They found her. She was under something in the patio and is safe and eating a lot. I slept through the phone calls thanks to drugs, but I will update you with more later.

I don't think I've ever been more relieved in my life.

Oh I'm soooo glad, I totally started to cry reading that. I can't imagine not knowing where my kitties are or thinking one is out in the big bad city alone.

The amount of crying I did in the eight-hour block where I thought she was gone was definitely enough to sink the Titanic. I didn't think I had it in me, and I never want to be put through that again.

Ok - massive relief aside, she was on the patio so they DID let her get out. We're lucky she's a little 'fraidy cat and didn't go far. I hope you don't let them off too easy, that's all I'm going to say.

They called twice at 1:30, but I was completely dead thanks to the drugs. The whole time I guess the patio had been open to all the cats, which they seemed fine with - I had no idea that was going to be part of the package, which I guess is what you get when you go with people you don't know very well. She got stuck underneath a grate and the boy roommate had to pry the grate out and climb down to get her. I want to kiss him (not the girls) and thank him profusely. I wonder if I can just take HIM out to dinner ( ... )
