SUMMARY: Marc and Paris spend some time by themselves for the first time since Marc's parentage had been revealed.
WARNINGS: Possible angst?

Paris was trying to get Quentão's daily schedule back on track. Since the arrival of the Traydors, he'd put all the political agenda handled through the palace on hold -- as was his right, not only as the Cajuzinho but also as the head of his family. Which meant that he was spending more time in his study, answering letters which came in with various requests. Some wanted meetings with him, some wanted supplies, and some needed treaties organized with other states. As always, the living mural behind his desk showed him the current state of things in Aquavitae. Today it seemed that all was peaceful, which gave him good reason to put his mind toward the more tedious tasks at hand.
But his mind kept wandering, touching upon more personal thoughts. Without realizing it, his gaze strayed to the window and he forgot what he was doing.
