(no subject)
I just found out Rilo Kiley is coming back to San Francisco. I missed them last time they were here, which kind of irritated me. they were offering both a paying show, as well as a free one at amoeba to promote 'more adventurous', which, as albums go, is the awesome. not quite as good in this poor lads mind as 'execution of all things', but better than 'take offs and landings'. don't know about their first album because i can't bloody find it for under $100. but i have faith. But i digress. They were in the city for one day, which just happened to be one of the two bloody days that i was sick last year. still have some unresolved bitterness issues there. but they return. not until june. if it's an over 21 show, i will stab a mermaid. i was going to say 'stab jesus', but i don't want to offend. But more relevantly, Rilo Kiley is the rock, and everyone should see them.
And if anyone is silly enough to take my musical advice (silly silly) The Dresden Dolls own your soul. On tour with NIN right now, but they will have their own headlining show next month. And the tickets aren't as crazy expensive as the NIN ones. And i'd rather see the dresden dolls anyway, so that works out nicely.
