Activist Blogging in Iran
Mater got an e-mail today that she passed on to me, calling for Twitter users to set their locations to Tehran and their times to GMT +3.30. In the recent crackdown, Iranian security forces are using location and timezone feed to hunt down bloggers and shut down internet access. If more people set their feeds to Tehran, than that creates a logjam and makes it more difficult for them.
