You have been warned!
What with HPatHBP coming out in a week [AKA, I should have been able to see it 32 1/2 weeks ago, evil Warner Brothers!] I'm in a Harry Potter mood. I've been reading fanfic, betaing fanfic (which, BTW, is a BIG job since I know most nit-picky grammar rules and must fix them... and the person I beta for is German, so there's quite a few mistakes!)
Anyways, since my brain isn't with it enough to beta (I tried that once... BIIIIIIIG mistake!) I'm reading fanfic (most PWP, "Plot, what plot?" [NOT the other "PWP", get your minds out of the gutter!])
Also, I've been watching youtube clips; mainly of interviews and such. Daniel Radcliffe is quite funny! Him a Jonathan Ross are wicked funny when they're together *lol*
Anyways... so I watched this:
(Embeding turned off, so outside link)
Click here to watch on youtube. The part I'm going to talk about starts at 2:30, so feel free to skip to that. Or you can watch the whole thing.
Anyways, she one of his "hidden talents" is that he has is that he can rotate his hand (pressed to a flat surface) 360 degrees...
Being bored, and being me, I tried it. Guess what? I can do it too. Can anyone else on flist do it? I do have flexible/loose joints though, so may that's it... I get it from my mom! She can dislocated and relocate her shoulder on-demand! I can also dislocate my left thumb and relocate it (if you feel it while I do it you can feel the "pops".) Oh, and I can vertically move my lower leg more than 180 degrees. While standing with my thigh/femur perpendicular to the floor, I can bend my knee backwards a bit (ankle further forward that my hip while keeping my femur vertical.) I can then bring it up (towards my back) and to the side. I can get it to be that my ankle is once again in front of my hip, but the femur is still perpendicular to the floor.
Oh course, these aren't good for anything except party tricks *lol*
As you can tell, I'm wicked bored! What else would lead a person to discovering they can rotate their hand 360?!?!?!!
*sigh* Laying in be is b-o-r-i-n-g! At least I have Atlantis [my computer] to keep me semi-happy.
I want to sleep! But, since my sleep schedule is so screwed up right now, and I want to get it back to normal, I am not going to take a nap so that I can go to get, and then get up, at semi-normal hours tonight/tomorrow!
So... yeah. Hope everyone is good :)
