Random update on stuff
That quilt I’ve been making is about halfway done. I have the top done; 99 squares are sewn together! I got that done to days ago. Grandma, Linda (her friend) and I went to the quilt store and we found some perfect binding and backing. We also go some batting: the fluffy stuff that goes in between. I also found some nice yarn to use to tie the quilt, which will keep it fluffier. That back will be a nice flannel so that it can be flipped over and used as a play blanket for the baby. I hope to finish it soon. T minus nine days until the due date (but there has already been one false alarm!)
I got a 99 on my last paper, which I’m happy about. I should have not problem getting an “A” in this class, which will help. I currently have a 3.5 GPA, and I want that to go up. I talked to the transfer counselor yesterday. I got some lists of schools to look up and consider. My current plan is to apply to Mount Holyoke College, Harvard University, Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, Yale University and Princeton. MHC is my top pick, by far, but the other schools are VERY well respected and so if I can get in, and depending on the finical aid, I may go there. We’ll see what happens. I plan on being a “bush doc’” so going to a “top” school might not mean much.
I’m not feeling all that well today, which sucks. I think I’m going to go back to bed soon. I think I might be getting a sinus infection, bleh. I hate getting sick. I have a stupid headache. I’m tired. I want to sleep. I want to just curl up under a bunch of blankets, let Tiger curl up next to me and just be unconscious. I have to do Physics tonight, but not for a few hours… That’s all I have to do today is a few physics problems. And I live with the physics tutor (my mom) so when I need help I can get it.
I’m working on the next episode of “something fishy.” However, I need help. I need four names for my oto cats. I’ve been trying to come up with some names, but I can’t. They’re the cleaning crew in the tank. So, CONTEST: name the next characters on the show!
