Agile processes are great. They promise you that you can take any team and create a palace, a bridge or a yacht. Unfortunately the results look more like an ant hill, a log over a brook and a raft.
To get other results you need not the right process but the right people. They are usually called engineers.

But for all of the strides the Agile Manifesto made in revising a philosophical approach to software development, it didn’t provide the concrete processes that development teams depend on when deadlines - and stakeholders - start applying pressure.
