Hi guys!

So I just discovered fanmixes--I don't know why it took me forever and a day--and I wanted to do something to pay the fandom/fanmix community back.

So! If you've ever wanted to make a fanmix but wished you had better graphic skills, now's the time to make one anyway! For the next 7

I would definitely request, but the one I'm working on right now is actually a 5-part fanmix, so I have to do 5 separate covers for the individual characters. Awesome idea, though!

5 covers doesn't sound too tricky...especially if it's for characters I already know. : )

Well, if you're interested, I'm doing a Hipster Harry Potter Mixes. I already made some for the trio, but I'm working on some for the Marauders + Lily. Basically, it's music about the characters/music they would listen to if they were hipsters.

If you're interested in the fandom, let me know and I'll give you the other details or you can ask me what else you need to know. =]

that sounds like a TON of fun, and really who doesn't love the maurauders? i'm not really up to photomanips, but if you can think of hipster accessories per each character (i.e. james potter glasses) maybe we could do something fun with those? or maybe you have ideas of your own!

Oh sure, that would be great!

I like the hipster accessory idea. Maybe you can just do that with "character's name mix" and then maybe a line from one of the songs or something? I'm not very good at thinking up those things, so you can decide on that.

As for accessories:

James: Glasses
Remus: Grandpa cardigan or ironically ugly sweater
Sirius: Some sort of band t-shirt, most likely.
Peter: I'm just going to say a beanie or ear-flap hat as I don't care for his character and would probably want to hide his mousy ears.
Lily: patterned/colorful leggings

Also, if you have a suggestion for any of those or something else, that's fine. =]

Would you mind if I posted the finished product on my journal? No one else could steal the graphic, of course, and I'll post a link to your lj with it, if you like. I'd just love to post a little gallery of the finished album art.

Oh wow, it looks really awesome! I really love it! My only suggestion is maybe if you could use less bright colors? I think the mix of music is a bit sombre, so I don't want to get anyone's hopes up that they'll be getting a really happy fanmix. =P

Sure posting the art and the icons is fine! Like you said, if you could maybe link to my journal (or if I post the ix before you do your graphics post you could just link the actual mix) that would be great. ^_^
