Oh! Oh! England! Where in England are you going?????? Obviously you must see Oxford and Bath. I've heard Cambridge is lovely though I didn't make it there. What sort of sights are you interested in, exactly? Kensington Gardens is beautiful...

Ooh, really? I just rewatched a bunch of Wonderfalls episodes for a video I'm trying to edit! So that's nice timing. : )

Oxford and Bath are two of the places I'm guaranteed to be visiting, actually. So if you have any suggestions for things in Oxford and Bath, that would be wonderful.

I'm not even sure what I want to see, besides all of it. : P I really need to do some more research over winter break!

Hey, "see all of it" was basically my plan when I went to England, and it worked out pretty well.

Let's see. The Oxford Botanical Gardens were fabulous even when I visited in December, so if you go in the spring they'll be smashing. Are you a Tolkien or a C. S. Lewis fan? The pub where they met to discuss their writing is called the Eagle and Child and it's excellent.

Speaking of botanical gardens, there's a simply splendid one in Harrogate if you get up that way. They have the world's most wonderful park (the benches had dragon-snakes for legs!) and close by a cupcake shop (which also has tea) and a number of restaurants that smelled delicious, although I didn't eat there.

Are you going to be in London? If so you should go to Canterbury; I didn't get there, but I've heard it's beatuiful and of course there's the Thomas a Becket connection.

Oh, I'm SO EXCITED that you're going to England! I had such a great time there!
