Okay, some ideas:

From 12th night: I say there is no darkness but ignorance (Just "no darkness but ignorance" could work too)

From Midsummer: The object of art is to give life a shape

From Hamlet: We know what we are, but know not what we may be

Also, from Hamlet: There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so (kinda long, but used to be my LJ header)

From Whitman (and my current LJ header): These are the days that must happen to you

Also Whitman: The future is no more uncertain than the present

Emerson: [the] Earth laughs in flowers
