interview with Miranda / composition and elements
The first article I read dealt with composition and elements. The article summed up what you had discussed in class and the assignment we went out to shoot. It was very straight forward and presented no new information that I had no already known. I believe the article can come in handy to assist me in approaching subjects in a new light or can be used as a tool to strengthen my photographs.
The other article was much more interesting. In the interview with her, it explored her talent in multiple mediums as well as addressing several of her pieces of work. She seemed very proud of her work, yet at the same time appeared upset because upon completion, she knew that she had perfected the work and there was nothing more to strive after. It would be interesting to as her the same question relation to technology now. I know this interview was conducted only several years ago, but technology has made such a jump I would be intrigued as to hear her response compared to the one she gave for this interview.
