Laser Eye Surgery?

So I have an appt. for next friday about Lasik eye surgery-
Has anyone heard anything about this process or had it done themselves that they would like to point out a few things about this?
Kinda nervous/anxious to see what this all would entail.

From what I hear the procedure itself only takes about 10 minutes. But it makes it so you won't need to wear glasses after your eyes are healed. I've known quite a few people who have had it done, and not a one has regretted it.

That's pretty cool- did they mention if it was like- painful at all?
I guess I'll find out all the details.
I have an appt. this friday to see what it's all about.
