Tony - I got an interesting memory today while driving down Rainbow...Do you remember back when we worked at Sonic and I had that incident during check cashing? Sonic used to Bank through Bank of the West, and since I had no bank account back then, I'd just go there to cash my check. Then, Sonic changed from Bank of the West to Bank West, and I went in to Bank of the West like always, and that Asian teller treated me like a moron for going to the wrong bank, even though she had been the one to cash my check for the past few months. Yeah...what a bitch. I drove by that bank today and thought about that.
I house sat for my mom again this weekend. I think I'll be doing that once a month from now on. I don't mind a whole lot. I just pack up whichever game console has my current game of the moment, head down there and play games for a weekend.
This weekend, I also watched a new episode of Saturday Night Live for the first time in many years. It looks like the cycle continues - middle of the decade sucks, turn of the decade is great. The best segments of SNL are 1978-82, 1988-92, 1998-2002. Now we are at 2008...it's time to get good again, and it's looking like it will.
