Hi. I still exist.
It's been almost a month since I updated.
In that time, I got an Xbox 360 with Mass Effect, beat Mass Effect, and moved onto Bioshock, borrowing Chris' copy.
I've also got a new developer at work who works under me. His name is Phil, he's picking up pretty damn quickly on the whole coding thing.
I built my mom a new computer, and blew out her old power supply in the process. That was the first time I'd ever built a computer from scratch, on my own. I've put together a number of computers, but my dad always picked out the parts so I was never concerned with making sure everything works together, until now. I was really nervous about doing it, because even though I had taken my time ensuring the parts were compatible (and NewEgg does a great job of helping me find compatible parts), I wasn't certain I'd covered all the bases. I initially just got a new motherboard, processor, heatsink and memory, but after putting it all in and blowing the power supply (250 W), I ended up getting a new case and power supply, too. I had to change cases since she was using a micro ATX. Now, the only original parts she has are the two harddrives, cd-rom drive and floppy drive.
Last night I was at her house helping her with some stuff and she gave me a few of my dad's paintings. I put them on my wall last night. A wave scene and a sand dune scene.
Autumn and I have been together for about nine and a half months now. Things are good. I am happy.
