Nice story! I like how you described most of the Strawhats via music!

Wow, this is impressive. Very original idea that seems entirely IC for Brook, in that great "I never thought of it but it sure makes sense" way, and it's nicely orchestrated, too! I'm kinda sad Sanji's tune squeaks around Nami ;_;, but it's a fair interpretation.

Small nitpicks:
Franky nods in approval and the complete lack of splintering,

I think maybe that should be "at the complete lack"?

Brook has noticed that while the little doctor loves having an infirmary to rule, he really prefers working in the gallery in the comforting presence of other crew members.

the galley

One other thing - does Usopp really show deference to Zoro? I think I must have missed that...

Thanks for picking up those errors ^^
Now that I think about, maybe deference was the wrong word to use, because it implies respect and Usopp isn't really respectful... I think the point I was trying to make was that Usopp would never use Zoro as a model if he was awake, so it was used to enforce the dead-to-the-world nature of the sleep Zoro was in (because he senses no danger around his nakama) and the familiarity they all have with each other. Plus, it's sort of implied that this is a routine operation and happens frequently - 'a day in the life of'.
Um, I hope that makes sense. In any case, there is some room for interpretation with the characters because despite the hectic pace of One Piece, Oda leaves quite a bit of time unaccounted for.
Thanks for reading :)
