So...I looked at fleshdress's newest batch of icons (which are gorgeous)...and one of the pictures wouldn't load...and so I got inspired...I give you, 'Icon'
It’s the picture with the razor
that won’t load;
all the other, less
dangerous things
show themselves;
the fire that burns down
to the ashy core
and the orchid, soft
pink petals surrounded
by perfume that sends me to
sleep; but it’s the razor,
sharp and biting,
that the megabytes hide,
a digital veil across the
darkness and bright, crimson
red beading along the edge
like coral, to wear
around the neck.
In happier news, huzzah! Exams are over! I am freeeeee! And in 15 days I have my formal, and in 16, I'm on the plane to Croatia! eeeeeee! *happy dance*
And *more happy dance* a great big thankyou and congratulations to all the Americans who voted for the Democrats! You rock my, our, everyone's world! See, your vote does make a difference.
of course, it's so much easier when a country has compulsary voting...like Australia...*feels smug*
