People stoped reading books.
I can name only few of my friends who I know read fiction / non-fiction constantly.
In the application I currently touch at work there is no such category as books, there are games, ringtones, videos,banners and some other bulls*ht but no single article. I'm sure they did the category list based on marketing researches, so that is defined - people are not interested in books.
The last one I finished on Tuesday - Milan Kundera "Identity" - was given by a good friend on Xmas, and I enjoyed it as I enjoy the good red georgian wine.
