Finished an album, I'm putting it up as I type this, but
check it out. They're called The Black Pandas and it's electronica music but with a live feel. It's insane. There's one song on there where the synth that has the melody is actually an iPhone. No joke. It was very sick. Haha, on the last track, some people out there will notice that it sounds familiar. Especially if you listened to the Monkees. It actually has me and some of my classmates singing the chorus 3 times at the end. Haha, so embarrassing >.<
But it's very yeah yeah yeahs and ladytron esque.

I'm also trying to import it into my itunes on 44.1 sample rate. Cuz I did it using the aac encoder and my bass sounds like ass. But then again, we really didn't mix to the idea of computer speakers, or even really consumers speakers. Hahaha, our bad. BUT we were in a huge time crunch. So as I'm listening to it, I'll have to say that the bass is weak and the snare and high hat is really jumping out of the mix in a not so great way. So this is a note to myself. LOW PASS FILTER on the mastering session and go through the mixes individually and bring down the snare and HH. Hungarian Dance is good. Can't could do with some volume automation. Desser on vocals for Same Ol' Radio. .... yeah. Maybe just take down that freq... Bring down the eventide vocal on Let it Go a lil. Too squeaky.
Import done. Now to compare...
Omg, the wav encoder sounds SOOOO much better. So for you guys importing song onto your itunes, you should try wav encoder, 44.1 sample rate. Trust me. Better distinction on the highs and the lows aren't fuzzed out.
