So today was yet another meeting of the Miss Holland fan club - aka fifth grade girl lunch extravaganza. We played MASH (natch) and Julia had the best future ever - She is going to live in a shack in Candyland where she drives a red herse and is married to the Grim Reaper. Together they have 1 1/2 kids. And she was sooooooo close to living in the grave of Bessie Buker - that would've been gravy.
So today in math no one in my group could tell me how to find a common denominator. I didn't even try to mask my skepticism to spare their little egos. "Are you kidding me??" Important to note that Trailblazers is a spiralling math program - so they JUST had a unit on com denoms a little over a month ago. Nice to see it stuck.
On a completely related note -
I've been on the hunt for tutorees - trying to pad my summer income. I've got some pretty good leads - so let's hope Marcy is workin like a crazy person come July...
Smallville finale was pretty boss - some nice Lois/Clark moments. She punched him for the umpteenth time - I swear eachtime is less playful and more like an actual attempt to slug him. One of these days:
