Coming home from work and finding this-- and the preview-- made me extremely happy.

Ha. I like Abigail fancies Claude. I remember what we were discussing when we were talking about this story, but I don't know what you eventually decided on for how Claude is connected to Abigail, so for now I'm going to agree that I think he's her uncle. Her and Claire can start a club. Then get pissed off when the objects of their incestuous affection decide to do each other instead.

Poor Claude, thinking about his empath. I like all the little hints throughout the stories that he is thinking about Peter and random times.

Your Abigail and Lee aren't lame, BTW. ;) But they are still missing the awesome gene. And is it wrong that I really think "The Hard Part" should have been something dirty? Because I mean, come on. The Hard Part.

Sneaking into the bathroom to check my email on my phone during work and finding these messages made me extremely happy ;) Even if I didn't get to respond till now.

LOL. I think in the sequel, this will totally happen. They will also bond about being electrocuted by Elle.

I know. I feel bad, getting so fond of them. Abby's a bit of a bitch but she is young and she is learning, so it's a bit more forgivable.

But they are still missing the awesome gene

Well, you know, poor Lee wasn't born into the family of awesome, and Abby...Abby's still got time for it to manifest. Maybe the eclipse will help it along.

Ditto on The Hard Part. There's no way that doesn't read dirty.

Thank you!

*laughs* OMG, I do that with my phone too! I sit at my desk and randomly check my e-mail on my phone all day. But I can't respond because it doesn't format properly so I just wait a few hours until I get home.

LOL. I think in the sequel, this will totally happen. They will also bond about being electrocuted by Elle.

Sequel, you say? ;) And maybe that's why Abby was so bitchy to Elle. She thought Elle was moving in on her crush. *g*

It's better. They're more complete characters. But they still seem so young-- not in the idealistic way that Peter seems young, but more of an immaturity-- that I can picture them acting the way they do in the GN.

I am such a bad employee; I'm not supposed to even have my cellphone on me when I'm on the sales floor, but I sometimes do, especially if I've just posted fic before coming to work.

The hypothetical sequel that will not be written for a while. Until I find out where Villains is leaving off, at least. We kid, but I actually think that might be part of the reason; I don't know if it's because Abby really did have a crush on him (although, who wouldn't?) but she might've seen Elle as a threat in terms of attention.

Heh, exactly. I really did try and make them somewhat sympathetic, because Claude has to have a reason for staying with them. He wouldn't if they were just naturally small-minded and mean.

Ha. I leave it on vibrate on my desk next to me, even though we're really not supposed to chat on our cellphones in the office. I don't talk on the phone, but I do text.

That's actually not much longer. Only three more episodes in the Volume. I have to work on Monday night. I'm so distraught I'll miss Heroes in real time. I can see the vying for attention thing. Even though Abby's family, Claude probably does feel protective of Elle in a different way since he knows her from when she was a girl and remembers what was done to her.

Also, because awesome cousin Sarah wants him to help them. Far be it from him to deny her.

I don't even do that, really. I have it on silent, because I don't actually care if my friends call. But god forbid someone comment on my fics, or add to the round robin, without me knowing!

Well that's good then ;) I may just fill in some blanks during the hiatus that will get totally blown to bits by the time the next volume starts. Sucks that you'll miss Monday's episode, though. Plus, I think after abandoning Peter, he's a lot less willing to let anyone that he is able to help go.

Hah. Yes. Awesome cousin Sarah that exists only in our imaginations.

There are lulls when there's not much else for me to do other than text or just hang out with my co-workers. I can't play around on the internet other than checking cnn.com or something since they monitor it.

Yeah, but there will be 7 weeks or so between volumes, I think. And most of our fic goes AU anyway. ;) I'm planning on downloading it when I get home. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it on Monday before I go to sleep. But I'm not leaving until somewhere between 9 and 10. I agree that he's less willing to abandon people. Like he's doing penance for leaving Peter by helping other people, though he still feels guilty.

That makes me sad. Because she should exist on the show.

I can imagine. Today I spent a significant amount of time deciding whether or not it was pathetic that the two of my coworkers that I've had periodic crushes on over the past few months would really be better for each other than for me. Oh yes. I'm slashing my coworkers now. But they're just so sweet together! I think they're becoming friends.

Fantastic! We can do our Plaudey episodes rewatch then. That'll be fun. And delude ourselves into thinking this is the volume, when Claude will finally return. Whatever else he and Peter did for each other, it was definitely enough for him to stop living like a ghost and join up with real people again. So, there's that. Even if the real people were kind of lame.

I know! I will gladly give Tim Kring any and all of my rights to the character of Sarah, so long as he promises to get Catherine Tate to play her.

Ha. I only work with two other guys. One is my forty year old boss, and another is a guy my age. So there's no office slashing for me. We eat a lot too. There's always food.

Yes. I think that will be the perfect time to get it done. :) They have been dropping hints. So if Claude doesn't come back then it's just cruelty. That's true, and why I think if given the chance they would be really good for each other. Poor boys.

And it will mean Claude is back. Which is doubly amazing.

That is unfortunate. We have food too! Today one of my coworkers brought in cupcakes. They were good, if oddly colored.

Woo-hoo. Between that and the fic exchange, it's going to be a busy time over at peterandclaude. And that is kind of awesome. I think they are just cruel, cruel horrible people over at Heroes and I will not think otherwise until the lovely CE is gracing my screen again. They would be great for each other; Peter would have the encouragement he needs to keep being awesome, even without powers, and Claude would get the kind of loving he deserves.

Oh my word yes. And that CE and CT will finally be working together.

They provide us with free lunch now, because it's so busy during the holidays they don't want us to leave for a lunch hour. And people are always bringing in food. We just had an office potluck last week-- it's what I made that green bean casserole for-- and there are still leftovers. Including tons of pie. Mmm, pie.

I still need to decide on my prompt. I am always so indecisive about fic exchange requests. *laughs* Did someone request something related to the GNs yet? Maybe I'll do that if it's not already there. We should have GN fic too. Their strengths and faults nicely balance each other out.

What is CT up to now that's she off Doctor Who?

Yeah, very soon the managers are going to start bringing in Christmasy food for the rest of us. Which is one of the things I sometimes hate about working over the holidays, because I always end up gaining a ton of weight from it.

Nope, no GN prompts yet! Have at them! They really do. Plus, so hot. So much chemistry between them.

Having checked IMDB, it doesn't look like she's been in anything since DW. Hmmm...good a time as any to make the leap over to American television, Miss Tate...

Friday's lunch was fried chicken, mac and cheese, and mashed sweet potatoes. So unhealthy. But sooo good.

K. I'll think of something from that then. ;) Maybe expand on that sentence meme prompt I gave c_quinn about Peter finding Claude in London. And yes. Milo has chemistry with almost everyone on the show. But there was an extra sexual spark with him and CE. ;)

Hopefully she'll read this and see our advice. *g*

Dayum. That sounds like just the kind of lunch I'd love to have.

Heh, I think that would be good. I really love some of the prompts that have shown up, by the way. Just wanted to say that. I think it's because he and CE are both sort of quiet, introverted people. Their relationship as actors really paralleled the Peter/Claude relationship. Which made things awesome. Plus, CE is not afraid to pull out the homoerotic subtext, and god bless him for it.

Oh, I'm sure she will. Although I'd worry about her on Heroes, redheads do not often fare well. Sylar would want to steal her power of awesome and then what would we do?

It was so yummy. I hope they have Chinese next time! Or I could go for some mexican.

*I'll think about it when I'm bored at work tomorrow afternoon. Damn holidays, I want a day off. It makes me indescribably happy they got along so well IRL. And yeah, I like to think that CE purposely throws us a bone. (Hee.)

*Sylar could really use the power of awesome recently.

Oooh, I do love Chinese too...my parents went to a Greek restaurant after they dropped me off at work today, and there was a gyro waiting for me when I got home. It made me happy.

Yeah, holidays...holidays are really bad when you have to work. It makes me indescribably happy that CE had such a good time on Heroes in general. He deserves it. I like that CE throws us that bone, but it's not just for the sake of "Hear the fangirls squee!" It's an added dimension to his characters; in Othello and 28 Days Later, especially. And maybe even in Heroes.

*Yeah, but I'd rather he didn't get it from Sarah. Or Peter. Or anyone who's awesome, really, at least not if he's getting powers the old fashioned way.
