Well, a once in a blue moon day, really, is my day. Because, for once, I really actually completely enjoyed my classes.
Even my medieval history class, with the professor that I hate, without really knowing why. Except that she's apparently a Crusades apologist, which...meh. Also, she got stuff about the Ara Pacis wrong, but I accept that not all my professors have had three semesters worth of art history to go on.
But hey: I had Art History this morning, which is always fun. Especially with my only RL friend who might possibly read this (hey there,
avahcado!) helped me see the slash potential in
this picture...that's a very strategically placed shield now, isn't it, random Byzantine soldiers?
And then, my boring medieval class, although there was a mention of Charlemagne, who's dreamy, so I was cool with that.
German was fun...we're into presentations on German cultural things now, and those are always cool. Even though I've now got a tiny crush on one of my classmates because hey, a boy who chooses to do a presentation on Frederick the Great, is pretty much awesome in my book. Poor Frederick, though; wanted to go around playing the flute with his buddies (and, according to some, playing their flutes as well), only to have his father kill his best "friend" and make him be emperor. But hey, got to love him, for his Austria-beating, religion-tolerating, infrastructure building ways.
Which brings us to econ, where game theory was the thing, and I've got to just say...I kick Nash Equilibrium ass, my friends. Sure, it helps I had a formal political theory class, but c'mon, that's still pretty awesome. Matrices...are totally my bitches.
Also: special thanks to the guys who sit to my left, and are usually pretty much idiots, for pointing out the slash potential in matrices...I'll never look at top/bottom, up/down strategies the same way again.
*cough* I've had a good day. Those are rare, but...wonderful.
