*laughs* I have no idea, but there's some actors I have a similar reaction to, so I can't judge.
Definitely more CE. I was going to title the whole thing "What do you mean this isn't a movie about Fred Noonan?!" I would watch that movie. totally. I've also decided that in this one, the second row, second column picture, that's totally CE's back and ear. Based purely on the height relative to Hilary Swank, compared to the other male actors.
I was once pulled into a test booth at a movie theatre, and they focus group you for movie previews based on what demographic they're trying to target. So basically they show you a preview and then ask you a bunch of questions about the actors, the plot, and if you'd see the movie. I happened to get Freedom Writers with Hilary Swank in it. *laughs* All my answers centered around DO NOT WANT.
I would only watch that movie if CE were still Fred Noonan. I have to admit that even without Hilary Swank, if CE weren't in this I'd never consider seeing it. I've never really had any interest in Amelia Earhart at all beyond the, "What the hell did happen to her?" any time someone else brings her up. Also, I agree. That's totally his ear.
And now I'm off to curl up in bed, listen to the Torchwood radio play from yesterday, and then get some sleep. Goodnight!
Hee. My father and I went to a pre-screening of that Spike Lee WWII movie (I can't even remember the name of it). I actually didn't hate it, despite not being a huge war movie fan, but you could feel the Oscar-baiting of it going on and it had some really bad moments, so I really went to town in the comment sheets. I never saw it when it was in theaters again, so who knows if they took my advice?
Oh, well, naturally. But who else could possibly play Fred Noonan, really? CE looks so much like him. Except hotter. I probably would've watched, even without CE. I was a big Amelia fan for a long time as a little kid.
This trailer needs less of her and more CE.
