No one seems to have noticed him, but no one ever really does.
I like that. A) Reporter!Peter is intriguing, and B) I choose to believe it's an invisibility reference whether it is or not.
It feels early and warm and like it’s been preceded by a very long night. One during which he didn’t get much sleep. Not that he much cares. Not that he think Claude does either.
Gorgeous.
P.S. Um, N to "unexpected date." For.. reasons that I will really stop stalling on any minute now. Yes.

Oh, that...doesn't mean it'll...end badly. Necessarily.
*laughs* The note will be in the next one. Or at least part of it will be.
I choose to believe it's an invisibility reference whether it is or not.
*laughs* It was, for once, entirely intentional on my part ;)
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
And don't worry. I won't use it for "unexpected date".

There's something so simultaneously heartbreaking and tender about their relationship here.
You do a wonderful job at giving us just enough information to keep it interesting while still holding enough back so it's also mysterious. I'd love another sequel to delve into more of their relationship and what exactly it is that Claude's doing.
Also, I guess N to unexpected date so lotus0kid can do that. But... Wild Card?

See, I did get some schmoop in there! And then the angst. But there was some!

There will definitely be one. And that one will be long walk on the beach, I swear!
But... Wild Card?
Heh. I don't know; I don't want to rob someone of the chance to use the Wild Card later on.
Thank you!
