The place Wesker had chosen for their meeting was empty, run-down, completely abandoned, except maybe for whatever vermin chose to make their home here. There was no one else around for miles at least, which meant that there'd be no interruptions. Just as well, he suspected this might get a tad noisy

Still, regardless, she met him where he had told her to be. Ada knew she was walking towards her death, most likely, but this was the path she had chosen so long ago, and she couldn't turn back now. The spy had done all she could, and now... things would happen as they did. There was nothing more she could do about it.
And so, she stepped forward, knowing that she, as Ada Wong, had done all in her ability to make things go the way that she saw fit. Under the mask of a woman she barely knew, Ada wandered into the warehouse nonchalantly, her eyes adjusting to the change in light, and taking in the place of her future gravesite.
"...You called, Wesker?"

"Indeed I did. You're right on time, as expected." He was quiet for a moment, letting the silence draw out. He would enjoy this... all those encounters with Vanessa would pale in comparison. The years between himself and Ada would add that extra little something.
He turned finally, leaving the light off for now. "I wonder, do you have any idea as to why I summoned you out here?"

And now, standing here with Wesker, one of those feelings- fear, was starting to creep into her skin.
"I haven't a clue. I figured you'd enlighten me once I came." Her voice cooly replied to the tyrant, stepping forward a little more. Oh, she knew all right. It was either Leon or the Master Plaga sample, and either meant that this was not going to end well. At all.

"No idea? Really?" The skepticism just oozed from his voice. He flicked the light on and a harsh white glare suddenly flared up, aimed directly at her. "Then let us see if this rings any bells: Los Illuminados? Leon Kennedy? And a certain Master Plagas sample that you provided for me?"
He strode towards her, stopping a few feet before her and lowered his voice to a cold, sibilant hiss. "You must have realised you couldn't deceive me forever. That fake was impressive, oh yes, but fake nonetheless. Did you actually think you'd get away with it?"

"Fake?" Ada feigned surprise, and then coyly looked back at Wesker, as if she suspected him of setting her up for something she clearly didn't do. "I don't have any idea what you're talking about. You know I always give my best effort into everything I do for you, Wesker, even when things don't always go as planned." Her eyes were staring back into his shades that he always wore, however, and underneath them, her mind was screaming for someone, anyone, to come and save her right about now.

"And I assume that this isn't how you planned things?" he said softly. She might have been able to see the merciless grin across his face. "Believe me, I'm just getting started."

She was breathing in hard, trying to keep herself from screaming in pain. She wouldn't give that to him, she wouldn't. Not ever.
But after seeing his red eyes light behind those glasses being accompanied by a malicious smile, the professionalism in her eyes withdrew, revealing her true emotion- fear. Wesker terrified her at this moment, he horrified her more than anything else ever had in her entire life.
"N-no. Not... quite." Her face paled as she heard Wesker claim he was only beginning. She was hoping her death would be quick with him- and now, she knew he'd never do that to someone like her. It would ruin the fun of everything. And Wesker always hated it when someone or something ruined his

Wesker frowned down at her ever so slightly as she denied him that pleasure of hearing her scream and whimper. But never mind, he knew plenty of ways to coax it out of her. You'll be begging for mercy, he thought darkly, and aloud, he said, "What made you think you would get away with it?"
Releasing her arm, he instead walked round to stand in front of her and then clasped a hand round her throat. Wesker clenched and pulled back his other fist, watching Ada's face carefully. It almost reminded him of that moment with Chris, three years ago now... only Ada had no one to help her this time. "You know how precise I am. You must have been expecting this." He punctuated each word with a sharp, powerful jab to her ribs. Even if ( ... )

Still, despite all of this, she wasn't dead. She'd been working for the man for eleven years, and she damn well knew how he acted when he wanted to kill someone. Quick and mercilessly. But she was still alive. Which, in turn, made her fear and realize the worst. Wesker was most likely using her for another plan he had in mind, and if he was planning something, it was never good.
She didn't even raise her arm this time as she was almost thrown into the chair, just squinting and wincing as she gasped for air. It was a minute or so before she could answer him.
"Nothing... nothing at all." She managed to say, fully knowing it was a lie. It'd only aggravate the tyrant, really- but she knew she had to do it. She had to. For her sake, as well as Leon's.
Whatever came next was going to hurt, and hurt like hell.

He was shaking his head sorrowfully even before she'd gotten all her words out. "Wrong answer, Ada, and I think you know it." This was pure idiocy on her part. It wasn't even as if she'd get any enjoyment out of this. Never mind, he'd enjoy it enough for the both of them.
His next punch would likely have taken off her head if he hadn't pulled it at the last moment. After all the effort of avoiding her death, hitting her too hard really would be a shame. That didn't stop Wesker doing it again, or again.
"Come on, it's a simple question," he cajoled. "If at all possible, I'd like to at least leave you recognisable for your star performance later."

It was a few minutes or so before she could speak again, sputtering as she felt blood form somewhere in the back of her mouth. She must've bitten her gum, something- being hit that hard made her ignore any other wounds she was given at the time.
"...I have- I have nothing to say." She knew that Wesker was using her now, and she wasn't stupid as to who it was for. Leon. He'd get the man riled up over her broken body, and then- who knew what would happen. Leon could possibly get killed. She couldn't let that happen. She wouldn't.
