She was likely vague because as you might appreciate, talking business with you is a tad awkward, but I managed with Birkin after all. But you are an intelligent woman, and people with brilliant minds who agree with me are hard to come by.
Hmm. No, I imagine she was rather vague because you were rather vague, which means it either has to do with something too important for her to know about, or I should be very worried. [She pauses.] I hope it's the former.
But yes, thank you, I like to think I can conduct myself with a bit of decorum, mmm? Even considering the circumstances, which, by the way, you were also rather vague about.
She does seem rather ... persistent; one wonders why you put up with someone so nosy for so long, even if she did keep Birkin happy. You've never really had much patience for such people.
... but I don't think you've told me enough, you've barely said three sentences on the matter. I think I'm entitled to a little curiosity concerning my death, no?
And you know, for someone who's been accused of what you've been accused of, you don't seem too keen on defending yourself. [She pauses.] Should I take that as the evidence I suspect it is?
... well, Vanessa seems to be under the impression that was my death was not quite so accidental as you made it out to be. She said - did - [She pauses, sighs, composes herself, and when she speaks, it's almost flawlessly calm.] You know, never mind. [She pauses for an even longer time than the first.] It's not important.
In any case, you did say you had some business with me, right?
Indeed. I may have... failed in my objective but that does not mean I've abandoned it. Birkin is assisting me but he is of course preoccupied with his G-virus, as always. Your input'd be appreciated. And after all, I doubt you'd find anywhere in Vanessa's world to continue similar research... over there, you're nothing, really.
Yes, I'd quite realized that. I didn't intend to stay here forever, you know. Though I will keep my half of the new apartment we're slated to get soon, I think; it's not as if I have many other housing options, considering my current status in other worlds, and Vanessa is generally lovely, if a bit bratty at times.
But in any case, I'd be delighted to help out. When would you like me to come over?

Plus, Vanessa mentioned something about you wanting to speak with me about business? I don't know precisely what, really, she was rather vague.

I don't quite see why it should matter anymore. I already told you enough and seeing as you are alive and well, surely the matter can be put to rest?

...I told you that Uroboros rejected you, and that it seems it was not as foolproof as I'd have liked to think.
And what do you suspect it is? Really, I can't say much unless you tell me what's on your mind, Excella.

Whenever you have set your affairs in order. I'm sure I can find the patience to wait for your arrival, after spending three years on Uroboros.

Yes, of course. I should be free within a week, if that's suitable?

Perfect. Will that be all then?
