Bro? That's certainly a new one. Let's see, don't take offence if he's wearing his lab coat and don't bring up his marriage unless he decides to pour out his heart to you over the champagne.

His wife is dead. Technically, Birkin injected himself with a virus eleven years ago, and ended up killing her. However, he avoided this by getting a worldhop to my own time. I don't know how much time he spends brooding over her, he tends to fill up free time with work.

Do remember that the Birkin you will be meeting did not kill his wife, it's all a tad complicated. But, he was senseless by this point, taken over by his mutation. You understand?

Perhaps if you explained further about 'the thing with the Corinthian', I could give you a decent answer.

I have seen both about the community. I suppose it is something like that though those two seem to be distinctly different versions of each other... it's a curious thing that two different versions of the same being do not ever coincide, except apparently in this case.

That's all by the by. The Birkin who killed his wife ended up dying himself, so rest assured the one you meet won't be suddenly attacking you, unless he's undergone a personality transplant recently.

As I said, a tad complicated.

It came about because he was desperate - he'd been shot to pieces, injecting himself was the only way to survive, despite knowing the consequences. There's plenty else that others would hold against him.

Of course not, else that Birkin would have been causing havoc even now which would have been particularly tiresome considering the mutations he underwent.

How funny you should say that.
