Nicked the profile meme from Idgie and filled it out! It's sort of half-arsed, though I make some points that I haven't been able to address previously.

NAME: Albert Ozwell Wesker. Also called Practical Al by Marcus, and various other names by everyone else.

BIOGRAPHY: Let's see here. I still resent RE5 and its WESKER CHILDREN bullshit but never mind. I think it can be interpreted in different ways but my usual thought is that when he was very young, ten at the oldest, Wesker was taken from his parents because he showed 'promise'. What kind of promise, I'm not sure: probably intelligence, perhaps a disregard for others, something like that. Either way, he along with other children was considered suitable for Ozwell Spencer's 'Wesker Children' project. Basically Spencer was all about making a new race of superior humans and stuff. To this end, he wanted a group of people he could indoctrinate and - WHATEVER it's unimportant bullshit that I'll get back to later.

...Hm. Why did I not save my Wesker app. Anyway.

He joined Umbrella, working as one of its researchers, at the age of seventeen. This is where he first met Birkin (who was fifteen at the time, they've known each other for a long while). The two worked under Dr James Marcus, a fine upstanding fellow - nah, that's a lie, the man had a thing for leeches. Marcus is the one who gave them the nicknames Practical Al and Scholar Will in some diary thing he kept. At first, they worked at the Training Facility before being transferred to the Arklay Research Facility.

After working on their research for many years, they assassinated Marcus and that scene's really funny to watch just for Birkin's "HA. HA. HA. I'LL TAKE OVER YOUR RESEARCH." /skims over everything ever... Let's see... Eventually Wesker transferred to the Intelligence Branch. He was growing suspicious of Spencer (rightly so!) and wanted the opportunity to dig up dirt.
In 1996, Wesker then joined the S.T.A.R.S division at Raccoon City, working as a double agent for Umbrella while acting as captain of the Alpha Team. Two years later, we get the shitstorm that is generally referred to as RE1 - uh, I mean, the zombie outbreaks and so on.

Technically before RE1, there's RE0, with brief appearances by Wesker and Birkin. They were supposed to be reclaiming ye olde Training Facility but James Marcus, having resurrected himself with... leeches, yes, I know - anyway, he screwed things up and forced the two to blow the place sky high. Because it isn't Resident Evil without a self-destruct sequence. Birkin disappears back to his secret lab under Racoon City so he can die and Wesker buggers off to orchestrate the events of RE1 and this is where their involvement in 0 ends. ...Oh, there's some stuff from Umbrella Chronicles in here but... whatever, it's really not that interesting. Um. He snarks with a Russian. Moving on!

Thanks to Marcus, the T-virus had been leaked and Umbrella wanted a cover-up. But they were also interested in the combat data to be had. So! The Alpha team was sent to investigate reports of grisly murders in the Raccoon Forest. They were attacked by a bunch of zombie dogs and then abandoned by their cowardly fuck of a helicopter pilot. Being well-trained, they took refuge in the nearest spooky mansion that they could find. Wesker promptly vanished so he could fuck shit up more easily while the rest of the team tried to stay alive. Wesker is generally a jerk here - he blackmails Barry Burton, by threatening the man's family, into luring the others into traps (and helping him find keys and so on according to the novel). trying to be informative yet concise is hard

Long and short of it is, Wesker at some point injected himself with the virus given to him by Birkin - and indirectly provided by Spencer. The members of the Alpha team who are left alive discover Wesker's betrayal and generally get upset at him. Then he gets stabbed by the Tyrant , everyone else runs away and nobody is around to see him come back to life. Now, his virus is a bloody mystery because it seems to be almost perfect, apart from some issues I'll address later. It brings him back to life, allows him to retain his memories, his intelligence, his bastardness, and grants him superhuman speed and strength. Why the fuck no one else ever seems to get this virus, I have no idea. Anyway, he wakes up, tries to nick the combat data, finds he can't because of the Russian he was snarking with earlier and he then escapes from the facility, just before it BLOWS UP. Yes, that's another self-destruct sequence. There's like, a million.

Lalala, then he chills with THE ORGANIZATION for a while and I have no clue what the hell they're up to. Evil, no doubt.

He runs into Chris Redfield on Rockfort Island during the events of Code: Veronica. It turns out that Wesker had attacked the island in an attempt to get hold of the T-Veronica virus. Chris was there looking for his sister. Wesker took the opportunity to have hatesex show off his new moves to Chris, and then disappear again when he realises that Alexia Ashford, the current host of the virus he wants, is... in Anarctica. Don't ask. So yeah, he takes off to Antarctica, Chris in hot pursuit, he gets his virus sample, has another lol at Chris, gets his face burnt, and... that is the end of that.

Er, and then stuff in Umbrella Chronicles which bores me so. I'll add that later.
Resident Evil 4 stuff now - basically, Wesker wants a sample of Las Plagas, Krauser is sent to kidnap the President's daughter so he can make friends with a weird spanish European cult, that fails, Ada is sent in, blahblahblah, Wesker is very cryptic, shit happens, Krauser dies (BUT WE GOT HIM BACK), Ada sends a fake to Wesker, the end. Should also be noted that Ada assisted Wesker back in RE2 by getting him a sample of the G-virus.

Wesker got in contact with Tricell, another pharmaceutical company similar to Umbrella sometime before the events in RE5. He got in close with Excella Gionne, manipulating her romantic interest in him to get what he wanted. La-di-daaaaa this is the worst history ever jesus christ.

Three years before the ACTUAL timeline of RE5, Wesker found himself in search of a certain man - Ozwell Spencer. After tracking him to his mansion, Spencer eventually revealed the details of Wesker's origin, and his plans to become a god with three components: the Progenitor virus (don't worry about this one, it's boring), the Umbrella coporation for moneys (Spencer was the head), and a race of people who shared his ideas - hence, the Wesker children. Essentially, Wesker was created to be one of those people so that Spencer could do his whole I'M A GOD stuff, which didn't look very grand seeing as he was stuck in a wheelchair. Wesker was the only surviving Wesker child - the others had all died at some point, either after reacting badly to the virus that they had ALL apparently been given, or meeting some other sticky end.
Wesker, understandably... was most unimpressed by hearing that he'd been manipulated all his life, even in his strange impulses to seek out Spencer, as all the Wesker children had been indoctrinated to find the guy at a certain time. Or something. In any case, Wesker simply kills Spencer, and proclaims that only one capable of being a god deserves the right to be one. Of course, he means himself. Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine burst in on the scene and after a short tussle, just as Wesker is about to finish off Chris, Jill sends herself and Wesker tumbling out a window.

Three years pass. In that time, Wesker develops his own virus, Uroboros. He does this by basically nicking bits of everything else, as far as I can tell. It was still unstable at first though, so he used Jill in his experiments: because she'd been given a vaccine eleven years ago in Raccoon City, something about antigens... whatthefuckever, it meant that she turned blonde, Wesker got his virus and he ended up using a special serum on Jill to turn her into a super soldier who had to obey his every whim.

Anyway so, RE5. For some reason we're in Africa - WAIT I remember now, it's because that's where the Progenitor virus, the grandaddy of all viruses, was first discovered. Whatever. Wesker's there, being a dick, Chris is there, investigating bioweapons and stuff with Sheva Alomar. Eventually, Chris and Sheva realise that OMG WESKER'S ALIVE and so is Jill. Epic showdowns ensue, Chris manages to snap Jill out of her brainwashing. Wesker fucks off to prepare spreading his virus. Globally. /cough

Unsurprisingly, Wesker ends up betraying Excella and killing her off. A little while later, Chris and Sheva confront Wesker again. This time, they get the upper hand. This is because they got hold of the serum that Wesker uses to keep his virus in check. That's what I meant when I said 'almost perfect'. It's not said what the effects are should he NOT take the serum, but the heroes force him into overdose and that messes him up pretty badly. The long and short of THIS is that Wesker ends up sort of absorbing Uroboros into himself. Interestingly, it doesn't take him over as it does with other hosts. He still dies though. He fell into a volcano.

Only not because this is DDD and fuck if I'm letting him die like that.

Quick thing here, because idk where to fit it in elsewhere: I sort of feel that from the moment Wesker heard about his origins from Spencer, he slowly started losing it. Not in a big way, he didn't exactly snap. Still, he was definitely a little crazier in a different way than usual. Certainly by the end of RE5, with that Uroboros stunt, I think he'd pretty much given up on getting out alive, as long as he could take Chris with him. I reckon that after what Spencer said, Wesker had to try and come to terms with the fact that while he'd been playing everyone, he himself had been a puppet all along. And he didn't do a good job of it. Basically? RE5 was him posturing and going I'M A REAL PERSON WHO TOTALLY WASN'T MANIPULATED. Idk. I think he wanted to sort of vindicate himself, if that's the word I want. And he still wants to. It's why he absolutely hates not being taken seriously, though he wouldn't tell anyone how strongly he feels about it. Er. /psychoanalysis which is probably WAY OFF but whatever. That said, this isn't an excuse for your character to suddenly realise what his issues are. He buries that shit deep.

AGE: 49. Er.

HEIGHT: 6 foot something. I don't believe the wiki, he's a bit taller than that. Need to check...

WEIGHT: He's lighter than Chris, I can tell you that much. /will check RE5

BODY TYPE: ...Hm. In RE4 he was kinda really thin. In RE5, he's a lot bulkier but not incredibly muscly UNLIKE SOMEONE coughchriscough. Well-built, I guess, with fantastic abs. Mhmm.

FACE TYPE: Er, quite a sharp face? Not exactly sharp, well-defined features. Which look sort of pointy. I am awful at this, wow.

COMPLEXION: ...He's... got a really stupid skin colour. Sort of tanned but. IT'S THE SAME AS HIS HAIR WTF. Well, only in RE5. In every other appearance, he's rather pale.

EYES: Hah. Red, cat-like slits, they glow quite brightly when he's pissed.

HAIR: Blond, slicked back. Always, always slicked back. He likes showing off too - when fighting Chris in RE5, he makes a point of pushing it back with both hands, and then promptly dodging your bullets :|

CLOTHING STYLE: Always, always black and generally a leather ensemble. 'Relaxed' for Wesker is just a black suit. I suppose the most informal thing he would wear would be some sort of plain black ensemble with a labcoat on top. turtlenecks

SPEAKING STYLE: Depends! He can be very short with you if you're irritating him in any way and will generally end the conversation as quickly as he can. But since he's a villain, he also has his moments of EPIC VILLAIN MONOLOGUE. His speech tends to be precise and pretty formal.

GENERAL DEMEANOR: I can insert a tidbit from his motion actor! The guy mentioned that Wesker always stands as if he's expecting an attack. He's always on edge, always prepared. He hates to be caught off-guard and so won't let people have the opportunity. The actor said that he tends to tuck his chin down, usually has an arm raised somewhere, or at least ready to block incoming attacks. He's forever scheming.

CAREER: Fucks the world's shit up. He doesn't... make a living out of it, idk. Sells viruses and bioweapons when he needs the cash I suppose.

PREJUDICES: ...Anyone who can't understand his vision for a ~NEW WORLD~. He dislikes everyone, idk. Apart from Birkin. Everyone else has something that irks him. apparently he has something against africans i mean lol re5

BEST QUALITIES: His intelligence, er, I guess... in a way his want to change the world is genuine. If he were a decent person, he might be good at it, but it's undermined by the fact that he thinks he has to do it his way - wait, these are good qualities. ...Eh, his abs, strength, speed.

WORST QUALITIES: LOL let's see. His arrogance which was ultimately his downfall, his complete lack of empathy for anyone and everyone. He doesn't pity anyone else or feel bad for them, he only has room for himself. That said, I guess he does get sympathetic for Birkin but that's it. Over twenty years will do that to you. Hm hmm, and he's just generally a dick who'll gladly use people as tools to get what he wants.

WEAKNESSES: His pride like I said, it tends to open him up though after RE5 he's more careful about that. But obviously, his virus and the serum he needs to take for it. He can't risk losing that. ...And apparently he can't see in the dark. Wtf Capcom.

HOBBIES: Work on viruses, write in a journal that I made up lol but everyone in RE keeps journals, idk. Play chess against himself.

TALENTS: Um... he's smart? He doesn't really have any talents like... cooking or painting.

WHATEVER, I'M DONE.

ALSO. If any of this didn't make sense, just ask for clarification or whatever. It did get a bit rambly.

tl;dr, latte is lazy, character profile, ooc
