Help me, please!
How is that I get paid OBSCENE amounts of money to teach Korean's English but I cannot even teach my own kid to draw a straight line?
Gunnar was sent home from school on Friday with some homework--it's pre-writing exercises where he is supposed to trace a straight line from left to right. I sit down with him, explain it and he starts coloring the god-forsaken line. I nearly pull my hair out. So now Chris is sitting at the table helping Gunnar with this while I write this dandy blog. Is this the start of some educational distasters in our house as Gunnar gets older and homework gets more serious?
When we work on his alphabet he will get tired of doing it and start insisting that every letter is an A or something like this and he knows it irratates me and I think he does it on purprose and then I get mad and he gets mad and we fight about it. This is pre-school for God's sake. Oh my gosh, I wonder, am I cut out for this???
