Day 2. The Forbidden City.

Well actually it's not really that forbidden...
Well actually it's not day 2, it first full day.
... at this rate of picture posting, by the time i'm done i'll be on vacation to somewhere else! i'm a genius!.... or lazy. you decide.
In the court yard of the forbidden city. It's where Emeperor Palpatine lives.
Daytime shot of the Southern gate of the Forbidden City. note the military presence. they're rentacops, cops and military everywhere. it's like a communist police state or something!
One of the last standing Guard towers that are outside the Forbidden city walls. it now stands on the southern side of Tienimen Square - which is south of Forbidden city.
The emperor's steps. there are three or 5 paths along the forbidden city, nad the centeral one (as pictured) is reserved for only the emperor
Tieniman Square... easily big enough to fit a few tanks in...
A look out from inside the palace. the emperor and his ho's (serious) would climb up these rocks (imported from another part of china, the... hanzhou ? reigion i believe, and are quote pours and much loved) and look over the wall to the 'people'
A fountain in the garden in the inner (northern) court of the forbidden palace.
Over looking a park, also piled with those fancy dancy rocks with a cool building.
the outside of a theatre where i saw an AWESOME Kung Fu musical showy thingy (which ironically is in Toronto right now, anyone who's there, GO SEE IT. it's uber.)
