It's insulting. I'm sure he wanted to protect us from whatever he was going through, but neither of us had been trapped. Neither of us would have BEEN trapped because we'd be prepared. Curses don't just strike at random.
But to have encouraged others... then what is our duty? We're Turks, this is what we're expected to do.

Reno, I'm putting you in charge of Rufus' security. Make sure his living quarters off the Durandal are secure before he returns to them. Elena, I'll be leaving. You and Reno are to make sure Rufus is attended to should he need it. Also, if there are any trustworthy medics you know of, have them examine him.
