I just took my singing final for aural skills four. Telesco told me it might not be a C for Congratulations, but it would be a D for Done. That's all i need is a D to pass and graduate! I'm taking a mental breather for a bit before getting back to studing for the dictation exam. hopefully that goes well too.
I think this is the lightest end of the semester I've had yet. All I have left before i can go home! *drum roll please!*
Aural Skills Dictation (Today at 6!!)
Jury (monday)
Teaching a Lesson at Lowell High (Tuesday)
Composition Analysis (due tuesday)
Journals for Methods (due asap... probably tuesday or wednesday)
... I feel like I'm missing something HUGE.
but I've already done my arranging, no final for theory, no more papers for methods, choir is done, choral rep is done, vocal ped is done.
Holy Moley, that's it!
i think I'm going ask for senior week housing (basically i can move to north campus for the week between finals and graduation) so I can bring my stuff home little by little. I'll have to make like... two or three trips... But i think i have it worked out. Go home after my finals are done... stay a day or two... Come back and pick up another load of crap (Cait, we should go out for lunch next week :)) I could either bring that home or i can wait for mom and dad to come up on friday for graduation on saturday.
I'm kind of excited for my jury. i have to memorize my french (but it's not as bad off as I thought it was...) and I REALLY need to work on my italian. But my German is pretty awesome and my english is on. I'm going to start with my German and hope they pick the english (or french at this point if I get it super memorized...) but if they don't pick the english my teacher, Mark said i should ask to do it anyway... I'm very tempted. The worst they can say is no, right? But I'll be super upset if I don't get to do my english. hopefully it's enough of a novelty that they'll pick the english (I'm doing a piece from Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance!).
I just have to hope that I pass aural skills.
...So far, I think things will work out. :)
