Barbara McKee: Anticipated surgery offers opportunity for new beginning

Barbara McKee is a published journalist, playwright, and poet. She is a chef, wine connoisseur, straight-shooter, and the mother of Chris, Debbie and Jeffrey MacCanon. She is the matriarch of the Vertigo Venus family. She has opened her home and heart to me (and countless others) many times over.
She is many things to many people, but she is, most of all, very loved.
The surgery is tomorrow.
