Virtuous Behavior

Name:Hayley
Age:18

1) Describe yourself (personality and looks; picture not required).

I'm pretty tall for a girl at 5ft8. I'm also quite slender and am slightly medically underweight. I have long and wavy black-blue hair- it's dyed that colour. Naturally, it's chestnut brown but I'm considering dying it back sometime soon. I've got an Irish complexion (plae skin with freckles and blue eyes) that I'm actually really proud of.As far as personality is concerned, I'm pretty obsessive and eccentric. I'm not really quiet but I'm not really loud either. I'm more skeptical than optimistic.

2) What is your life aspiration/dream? What field of study would you like to take?

I wanted to be a lawyer and have done for about two years now. I studied Law at A-Level and I'm going to go and study it at university in two weeks time. I'm not fussed about marriage and children. If meet somebody, I might get married and settle down. If I don't, I don't. Simple as that. Also, I don't put a lot of worth on fame. Money, however, is something I want.

3) Who are some of your favorite artists, musicians, etc.?

I've got a really broad taste in music. I love Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails but I also love "old" swing jazz music, like Dean Martin, Louis Prima and Bobby Darin. I love the Gorillaz at the moment and I've also got a soft spot for Blur.

4) What beliefs do you abide by (religious, ethical, etc.)?

I'm agnostic. I can't prove there is a God and I can't prove there isn't one. So who am I to enforce a view of either side?

5) Which virtue do you believe you do not belong to?

I don't think I'd be good in faith. Like already said, I'm a skeptic. If I can't see it, I won't believe it. I'm also not particuarly trusting or trustworthy (people get me to lie on their behalf...well, I guess 7 years studying drama paid off then.)

6) Name some of your talents/abilities.

I am naturally good at Maths and writing essays. I'm also big on public speaking and I like to think I'm good at it. I used to be on the debate committee at my old school so that must account for something! I'm generally a good logical thinker.

7) What mannerisms do you dislike in others? Yourself?

I hate indecisiveness in others as well as myself. I also dislike apathy- I hate it when people whinge about their problems and then don't do anything to solve them. I hate watching other do that to themselves as I know it made my life more miserable than needs be when I was growing up. I hate lateness as well.

8) What are some of your habits (good and bad)?

I'm an obsessive time-keeper. I make daily to-do lists. I think of it as a strength as well as a flaw. However, I'm pretty messy with material things. I'm not worried about "things looking pretty"- provided it's there and I know where it is, I don't care! I've developed a thick skin which is a flaw as well as a strength. On the one hand, I keeps me going and means that I don't take nasty comments to heart. On the other hand, it means I can come off as up myself! ;)

9) What is/was your favorite moment in your life?

My current favourite moment was getting my most recent exam results. I was really pleased with them and was glad to see all my hard work had (finally!) paid off. It also meant I got my first choice university place.

10) What is your ideal job? Why?

I really want to be a lawyer. It's a challenge subject that is ever changing. You have to stay on the ball and be willing to work hard. That's what I love about it.

11) What is your ideal partner (relationship-wise) like?

I like guys who are a little bit arrogant rather than lacking in self-confidence. It sounds harsh but I'm sick and tired of going out with guys who just whinge about how they're never good enough and how they might never get anywhere etc. I'd rather just be with somebody who goes "Hey. I'm good and I know it, so there!" I like people who are comfortable spending time on their own. I'm confortable being on my own and my most recent ex had to be surrounded by people all the time. He didn't get that I was happy to be on my own and play computer games and kept telling me how depressed I must be. So I need somebody who understands that it's ok to spend time on your own and there is nothing depressing about it.

12) Favorite color?

Electric blue- nice and bright!
