Jesus, this is so huge. But I'd be remiss if I didn't say I was smiling by the end of reading this. She has a beautiful name, and she sounds like a truly beautiful little girl.

Reading this, I can't help but be so struck by your bravery, as well as that of your family. Not many people your age would stick around. Not even the mum did, and I'm assuming she's older than you. And severely fucked up, by the sound of it. If she was going to pay for sex, you'd think she'd be smart, but apparently not. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, that it's come to this... but I do see what a beautiful, loving family Aislinn will have, very much including you. She's going to grow up happy, and I think she'll make you proud, just as I'm sure you're making Joe proud, too.

I didn't want to stick around, at first. But dad made me. And he's right. What happened isn't Aislinn's fault, it's mine. I made her life and I have no right to fuck it up before it even really begins. I need to do everything I can to make her happy so this is a good consequence instead of a bad one. And thank FUCK I have my parents and Damon to help. And all of you too, of course!
