Awww, honey! You say the best things *smiles* Your artwork should be shown to the world. You capture all the beauty around you to preserve it forever. That is so something so special, my darling.
Thank you! A lot of the drawings I showed them were from when I was in hospital. They said they conveyed 'longing'. I didn't have the heart to say mostly to me they conveyed 'boredom'. I like that they saw things I didn't see myself.
He's certainly good at it. Who else would tape that picture in their son's maths book?!
I think there's always more to be seen than the artist might think. There are things going on in our minds that we're just not aware of. Maybe they're right, maybe they're projecting, who knows. As long as they're getting something from it *smiles*
I'd say maybe Peter, but I think he'd take some convincing, whereas Joe apparently did it all on his own!
They're probably right, I just didn't think of it at the time. But yes, as you say, as long as they're getting something!
I can't imagine what growing up in a house with three of them was like for Abby and Aunt Eleanor. I only have one! Not that Abby and Ellie aren't capable of giving it right back...
Longing is a powerful emotion, and I think we all long for something. It's good that it was expressed.
Hehe, it certainly would have made for an interesting childhood! It would have been such an amazing house. Never a moment that even looked like it might be dull if things got a little quieter!
Though there is, of course, art to sticking photos in maths books, too...

Scratch that, it wasn't dull, it was hell.

That'll teach you to call Michael Jackson 'weird'.
Well...if you called him that now you'd have a point...

And HAH yeah...true enough.
