Just another day...
GUYS. IT IS SUCH A MONDAY I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU!
Seriously. My neck hurts so much this morning. Every time I turn to look over my left shoulder there's just pain from the base of my skull down to in between my shoulder blades. Ow ow ow ow!
Also, I'm copy editing paginations of SoCal M&E and it just makes my eyes bleed because the grammar is atrocious and people apparently still don't recognize the differences between homonyms. Also, what has the comma done that people must abuse it so? I want to call the editor and tell him he hurts my head. I don't think that'd be very profesh though, but at least Lena sympathizes with me.
I'm nervous though, because every day I'm here without an answer from Barbara (even though I just turned in my packet Friday) frightens me. I just wish I had a job lined up, and technically I do. Pam has offered me just about all the freelance work I can handle until I get a desk job, but I just worry. I know I'm a good writer and I know I could do freelance, especially without school in the way but with graduation coming and the 6 mo. loan timer I just really wish I could confidently say "yes, I will have gainful employment" and just stop thinking about it.
