Do you keep up with your local music scene? Not really

If yes, how? If no, why not? Yes in the sense that I'm always going to events. Usually DJs. Usually drum n bass because... Well EVERYONE here, including every single one of my crew, listent to it. Most of them are drum n bass DJs. So I'm out there dancing along to a lot of it. But I'm not interested enough to really follow who's who in terms of DJs and shit. No one I hang out with is really interested in hiphop so I'm not even slightly involved in that scene. I'm also not really listening to music much at all anymore anyway.

PEE ESS my homeslice Troll, who I've been painting with is as big a Aesop head as I am and burned me a cd full of crazy shit like a 1 hour long freestyle session with Aesop Rock, Sage Francis, BluePrint and a couple others. It's THE SHIT. Man, I never knew how good Sage was at freestyling, he fucking trounces EVERYONE, and they're not exactly the kinda heads you'd describe as easily trounceable if you know what I mean. Hit me up on aim or msn sometime I'll take time out to send you it all.
