My wrist hurts, so I'm taking a break from constructing Natalie's hat and updating. I should be vaccuming the living room, but then some people might think I've been switched with a decent housewife. Which is my way of saying, I was domestically productive today, woo.

Since ABC has been airing the Harry Potter movies(we are up to Goblet of Fire), The Cassie has become quite the fangirl. She , of course, omgluuuvs Harry and Hermione, but she has a strange fascination with Malfoy("mom, who's that bad guy boy again? You know, with the hair?") and, in a surprising bout of lulz, doesn't like Ron even a bit. He is, apparantly, a "troublemaker".
She has swiped a large wooden crochet hook from me, to point with whilst she runs about screaming "Ridiculous!" and "Imperius!".  lol I am happy she has found her geek niche, but really, it was only amusing the first 10 times.

I was worried the movies would be a little too PG for her lil 5 yr old brain, seeing as my vampire book cover gave her a nightmare(yes, you read that correctly), but so far, so good. I remind her that it's just pretend and let her know it's ok to cover her eyes if it gets a little scary, but she's cool. Seriously, I get a little squicked looking at Voldemort sometimes.'

Mom had a few objections, but my arguement of "What?!? We watched The Hobbit, Never-Ending Story and The Dark Freakin' Crystal when I was her age!" fixed that wagon. She started laughing when I got to the point about the crumbly bird falling apart scaring the bejebus out of me and obviously traumatizing me still, since I remember it, 20 yrs later.  Let's not even talk about Edward Scissorhands when I was 13.

GoF was fun though, since it had both the 10th Dr and the Sparkly Vampire. Heee.

Oddly enough, Cassie has declined my offer of seeing Half Blood Prince in theater. Damn, too, because I wanted to goAh, well.

I was going to include some text on the dwindling time til I finally have a vehicle, silly "roolz" about outing someone who's poly, and my adventures using the phrase "bitch, please" on men, but I'm bored now.

potter fan, the usual
