HERE IS THE STORY OF PATRICK AND KATI, AND WHY THEY ARE SO CUTE AND WHY YOU SHOULD APP THEM FOR THE NEXT COUNSELOR ROUND.

Patrick Colasour and Kati Mannekin make up what is pretty much the best pairing ever. In the first season, she was colonel for the AEU (Advanced European Union)'s army, and he was the AEU's Ace. Except Patrick has a nasty habit of failing at everything he does, and getting his mobile suits exploded, totaled, and blasted off again, but still managing to live through even the most thorough beatings. Anyway, when Patrick first meets Kati, he shows up late after screwing around with a woman, and her response as soon as he walks in the door? Punch him right in the face. Twice.
This naturally leads to Patrick falling in love with her at first... abusing.
So throughout the rest of the series, he does a variety of things to impress her, like trying to capture a gundam so that he can get a "kiss from Colonel" and he still fails! A lot. Eventually, he shows up at her place with a bouquet of roses and asks her out for dinner. Kati is all, paraphrased, "The world is undergoing a great revolution right now, don't you care about that at all?" and Patrick says "LOL NO :D :D :D" and Kati... just sighs and says she'll go on a date with him, and Patrick fist pumps and shouts "YATTA!"
In the second series, Kati is now the Colonel for the Federation's (united earth alliance type thing) private army, the A-LAWS, which are the bad guys this time around. Patrick has been conspicuously absent all season. Until...
Patrick: COLONEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Patrick: I'M HERE!!!!!!!!!
Kati: That man...
Kati: How stupid can you be?! I've repeatedly told you not to get involved with A-LAWS!
Patrick: I volunteered to join A-LAWS.
Patrick: Because I want to protect you, Colonel.
Kati: Being here means you will have to fight Gundams. You will die.
Patrick: Pardon me. But, I have fought Gundams seven times and survived it all.
Patrick: The nickname my comrades gave me is "The Immortal Colasour."
