So what's behind this whole "anniversary" phenomenon? Why are some anniversaries more important than others? Why celebrate/commemorate annually? I suppose it's convenience.
Nevertheless, it's been 5 years since that fateful day.
I've forgotten all about the "fear" I used to feel in those days immediately following the events of 9/11. What if it's my train? While I'm waiting for my train at the Pentagon? Why couldn't I chose a more low-key city to live? Will it be a dirty bomb? Sarin gas? yeaaaaaaay!!!
Ok. Enough of this bullshit. No fear.
After I read the 9/11 commission report a few years ago, I came to this foreign policy conclusion. They just need to disperse mass clouds of marijuana smoke in suspected terrorist camps 24-7 for 420 days straight. Make airdrops of snacks, poweraid, and tons of dvds. We'll get them stoned over there so they won't jones and go crazy over here. Root causes? Can we smoke that?
