I'd like to thank everyone for their messages. It means alot to know I'm still in the thoughts of so many. Right now we only know a select few of who are dead, and I already recognize two of them. I'll get to them in a second. I'm stuck in-between numbness and intense pain. I either don't think about it, or I become almost paralyzed by the events that took place just 24 hours ago. I jump between both worlds right now, without any real middle ground.
Ryan Clark was the RA in West AJ who was in the wrong place in the wrong time. Between a madman and his ex, Ryan was one of the first two killed early that morning. While I didn't know his name, I recognized him immediately. He was always a very warm and bubbly person whenever he walked into West End. You could always pick him out of the crowd. I saw him many days, and whenever I'm there I know I won't see him anymore.
Leslie Sherman I knew from being a fellow supervisor at West End. She was one of the supervisors first at the Chop shop, which was my second favorite shop besides my own. This last year she was transferred to the Pizza shop. I'll always remember the first time I met Leslie, a bunch of us went playing basketball after work. One of the people I'd never seen before was this girl with her brunette pony-tail being able to the cut clear around me and drove to the basket. She was a very friendly person who I would say hi to in-passing many times since then. And now I just think about how she's gone.
