Jersey Girl and Xavier!
Similiar? No, not really at all.
But late yesterday afternoon I caught a showing of Jersey Girl down at the AMC on Levee. I've always been a big fan of Kevin Smith and so that was enough reason for me to see it, despite all the negative reviews the critics are giving. Having seen it, I don't agree with the critics. While the movie wasn't typical of Kevin's style it was still a great film all its own. It had me going through a whole range of emotions throughout, from laughter to nearly tears on a few occassions. Tears? Me? Well, yeah. When you have a movie that centers around the loss of a loved one and how much everyone misses that person it tugs on my heart pretty seriously. Hell, over 10 years later and I still miss my Mother. Always will....
On a much lighter note, let me say something about Liv Tyler. Ahem. Mrowl. Why? Her facial expressions are so hot! The way her lips, eyebrows, and eyes move really tweak me my attraction sensors in the most amazing of ways. God help me if I ever meet a woman who can wiggle her eyebrows, has a bright smile along with quirky smirks. And if she digs the whole 'longingly stares' and strong eye contact during conversations..... Yeah, I'll be doomed. Throw in a dynamic personality and I'll ask for nothing more. Cheekbones are good too. ;)
Oh.. And...
HELL YEAH XAVIER! WHOO-HOO! Going on the to Elite Eight! OMFG! I'll be screaming at my television or some friend's television come Sunday versus Duke. More likely it'll be the first since all my sport-interested friends seem to be UC fans and are a little envious of Xavier at the moment. I could not BELIEVE that game against Texas. Wow!
Time to see if I can get some Final Four tickets now.
