1 year anniversary
Took Dad for his one year check-up today. I can't believe it has already been a year. I did think it was cute that they scheduled it on his anniversary date. He is doing great, just a bit of trouble controlling the diabetes. Because he will be on Prednisone most likely the rest of his life this will be a constant battle, as soon as they lower the Prednisone he is very borderline diabetic so they put him on pills but if they end up raising it he has to go back to insulin shots. Since they take blood work monthly he gets adjusted monthly a very viscous cycle but hey he is doing great. It is scary to think that had he not gotten new lungs last year, he would not be here. I thank God everyday that he is here.
