Slack!
Well well well haven't I been slack over here at LJ. Sorry! I have been happily viewing other people's posts but not doing much of my own. I will try and do more posting this year. Promise!
I am office-bound this week and next in Adelaide, before my final two weeks out in the field in sunny, hot, arid, Challa Homestead/Canegrass Project lands. Why my final two weeks? Well quite simply, I will be out of action being rather pregnant for the next little while! I am due in July, so its a late birthday present for me also. It is exciting, and I am feeling great these days, I am a very lucky person I think. Work is being supportive, I am exercising lots and enjoying sleep and sun and eating nice food too. There is nothing like staying motivated to not eat junk food, like being pregnant!
Anyways enough of that waffle, I am sure I have shared enough right now. It is too early to be completely scared or nervous, and I feel confident that all will go at least OK (if not well!).
In other news, I totally loved The Hobbit film, we are watching Sopranos Season 2 (and almost onto the 3rd one!) and I have lots of cool books I should be reading also (such as the next Gunslinger novel, and my Xmas books - Prince, a story about Joy Division by Peter Hook, and so on...).
