Soooo what's in the news, world? As for me, in the Pilbara til tomorrow morn, back up for a month from the 20th April. Crazy! Then, its my THIRTIETH!!!! at the end of May in Adelaide. Should be rad, got a Rio Carnivale theme, its at a pub so I dont have to clean it up and hopefully it doesnt bankrupt me! Oh I yearn for the simple days when I was super cool in Melbourne and it was considered appropriate to chuck a party in an up n coming undiscovered bar, Yay Robot!! And pay for a few sushi trays and some drinks. Oh well.
I've been reading a lot lately, its been a nice change. At the moment, its Weaveworld by Clive Barker. Its pretty awesome so far. Just finished Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert, very interesting. Next, it will be the History of the Eastern Guruma people (the native title holders for the area in which I work in the Pilbara), which is at the Adelaide uni library! Yes.
Got a bit hooked on The Vampire Diaries last weekend, hoping to finish it off before Simon gets back on Sunday from Pichi Richi (undergraduate field trip). Also watched North & South on Easter Monday, its an amazing period drama!!!! Def worth tracking down.
Thats about it, want to listen to some Grizzly Bear or Animal Collective and work on rig inspection templates for when the drillers arrive! The joy.
