Authors Note: This is set after ‘Other Stuff’& ‘Whatever’. Oh my, I had the best time writing this! It’s short, but I love it. Part one is here.
Part one
Stella stood across from Don outside a theater, watching him stare off into space as Mac told them of the hostage situation they had to take care of. Stella was watching Don because she had an idea. There had to be a point man to go into the building right? Oh, she was scared for Truly sure, but Don would save her, and that would fuck with her mind and set her on the course of normality, oh yes...it would work.
"Any volunteers?" asked Mac, looking around at the officers surrounding them with a skeptical look.
"Flack wants to," Stella spoke up. Don turned to look at her, registering what she had just volunteered him to do.
"Excuse me?" he asked with his eyebrows raised. "You are out of your mind, Bonasara, I’m not going in there."
"You do know who’s in there, right?"
"Who?" asked Mac, turning to her bewildered.
"Truly."
"T-Pack’s in there?" asked Danny, jabbing his thumb towards the building. Stella nodded seriously, watching Don act like he didn’t care.
"So?" asked Don, or he really didn’t care. Almost everyone turned to look at him, Danny’s mouth actually dropped and Aiden (who had spent more time with Truly than Danny did) punched him in the shoulder.
"She’s your girlfriend!" Aiden said in outrage. "She could die!"
"She obviously doesn’t care enough about me, why should I?" Not good, not according to plan, rewind.
"Fine, I’ll go. Aid? Wanna come with?"
"Sure," said Aiden, catching on quickly. Danny (poor, slow little lamb) looked from Stella to Aiden, his eyes wide. He then turned to Don and hit him too.
"You’re an ass."
"Tru can talk her way out."
"That is a good point," said Mac, receiving glares from Danny, Aiden and Stella. "What? It’s true."
"There are other people in there beside’s Truly," said Aiden. "Like Joanie."
"And Deven," said Stella, her eyes going wide suddenly.
"Don’t forget the hostage takers," said Danny, turning to Don. "Do you really want to leave them in there with the wrath of T-Pack?"
"Oh, God, fine, I’ll go," said Don, rolling his eyes. "It’s so not going to be worth it though."
