Some Things Should Be Expected and the morning after
It's His Fault Stella wasn’t all that thrilled to go see Truly, she wanted to see her though. Don had told her yesterday that her bother’s killer wasn’t the killer, and Stella wanted to make sure that she was okay.
Stella used the key she had of Truly’s to get into her apartment and found it very awkward being in there again. Stella sighed and pulled off her coat, placing it on the coat rack by the door and paused, looking curiously at the floor upon noticing various articles of clothing strewn about Truly’s apartment.
"You have got to be kidding me," muttered Stella under her breath. "Flack, what the hell did you do?"
Stella jumped as Truly stumbled out of her room. She looked up at Stella in surprise.
"Stella? What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to make sure you were alright," said Stella, grimacing slightly. "But I guess Flack did that for me," Truly cleared her throat and shrugged guiltily, running her hand through her hair. "He’s still here, isn’t he?"
Truly looked over her shoulder in the direction of her bedroom and nodded. Stella sighed and shook her head.
"I just came over to see if you were alright," said Stella. "And to apologize for being such a bitch while you were-"
"It’s not your fault, it’s mine. Really, Stella, you don’t have to say anything. I should be the one saying sorry," Stella was more or less shocked. She’d never really heard Truly apologize, and briefly thought there might be something wrong with her.
"You want to get lunch?" asked Stella softly. Truly nodded.
"Yeah, I’d like that."
"You should probably-"
"Hey, Tru, where are my pants-" Don walked out of Truly’s bedroom and froze as his eyes landed on Stella. Stella blinked at him and contemplated on turning around, but seriously....
"Nice boxers, Flack. Pluto, it’s cute," said Stella, biting her lip to keep from laughing. Don glared at her and bent down to pick up his pants laying near the wall by Truly’s room.
"I should probably go," said Don quietly, walking up behind Truly who nodded in agreement. She gave him half a wave and he left her apartment.
"See you at work," said Stella after him, earning herself a glare. She stifled a laugh and turned back to Truly, clearing her throat nervously.
"Well, that was awkward."
